Frequently Asked Questions about our Floral Cupcakes

Please go to our "Menu" tab to see the current offerings. We offer classic size cupcakes and BLOOMIES (mini-cupcakes) All our cupcakes are custom designed. We will work with you to select the flowers and colors of your choosing.

Yes, absolutely!! Our orders are all custom designed, and we will work with you to help you select the best colors and flowers for your floral cupcake arrangement. The number of flowers you can select for your order is outlined on our Menu tab.

Placing an order is as easy as sending an email to bloom@bloomcupcakes1.com. You can also send a request by clicking on the "Drop Us a Line" tab and fill out the Order Inquiry form. I will review your order and respond within 24 hours. Once approved you will be able to pay for your order with Venmo. or Zelle.  Bloom Cupcakes requires pre-payment for all orders. We request a 50% downpayment for orders under $200 and a 50% deposit for larger orders. Special event, or wedding orders require a sign off on our Terms and Conditions prior to securing the order.

Bloom Cupcakes prefers pick up your orders from our home bakery. If you are placing an order from a different city, please reach out to me at bloom@bloomcupcakes1.com to inquire about the possibility of delivery for your order. I also provide delivery and set up services for a large, special event order.

Bloom Cupcakes are baked with fresh, organic ingredients. Because the buttercream is made with real butter, it's recommended to place them in a cool environment. Leaving them on the kitchen counter will be fine for a few days, but if you wish to extend the freshness of the cupcakes, and keep the floral designs crisp, I recommend you store them in the refrigerator until you are ready to enjoy them. Remove them from the fridge about 30 minutes before serving, and they should return to room temperature for the perfect texture of the cake and frosting. You can also freeze my cupcakes if you won't be enjoying them in a few day's time. Bloom Cupcakes will stay fresh on the counter for at least 2 days after receiving them.

There are no nuts or ingredients with nuts in the recipes for either flavor of cupcakes, but our kitchen isn't nut free. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that our cupcakes won't have any cross-contamination. Bloom Cupcakes is focused on creating a consistent, high-quality product, and because of this we have decided to focus on only offering chocolate and vanilla cupcake flavors. Our frosting is also vanilla buttercream frosting, and we have decided not to offer alternate flavors of our frosting for the same reasoning. Our cupcakes are made with the highest quality, organic ingredients.

Bloom Cupcakes prefers that you allow a minimum of 3 days advanced notice for an order. Our cupcakes are all home-baked and custom designed. Creating the floral designs takes time, and my cakes are baked to order. Orders of 2 dozen cupcakes or more require a longer lead time - with 2 weeks being the recommendation. 

At this time, I am only serving Ballantyne, Waxhaw and South Charlotte. This question comes up frequently, and I am researching the feasibility of shipping my floral cupcakes in the future.
